the mirror was taken in 1971 and the images were on a disk that was not.

THE WORKINGS the galleries predate the research programme. the K shaft, the flooded <color=#7a4a2e>#### levels, and the winter store that the station now calls its BASEMENT were all cut for ore, and cut badly, by men paid by the fathom.

ore grade fell away after <color=#7a4a2e>####. the company kept the pumps and let the men go, which tells you which of the two it considered the asset.

SURVIVING FRAGMENTS (transcribed 1971, transcriber unnamed) "...the pumps run but the water level does not change..."

"...men will not take the second shift below. i have stopped asking why and started paying double..."

"...the cage is rated three. it goes down with three and it comes up with three. i want that written down somewhere a person will read it later..."

<color=#8a5a3a>THE LAST SEASON the final log ends mid-sentence on 14 october 1967. the handwriting is steady right up to the break. the assets were sold at auction in the spring. the purchaser's name does not appear in the record, and the auctioneer's book for that lot has been ############.
