isobars are drawn from the mast only. the ridge unit is
not plotted; it disagrees with the mast on one figure and
agrees on every other, and a plate with one disagreement
on it is a plate nobody reads.

the disagreement is the second trace. period 40 s.
it is in the pressure channel. it is not in the wind
channel. i do not know what makes a pressure with no wind.
